Book Feedback

Hey Room 14!!! I'm writing a book and I want your feedback. It doesn't have a title, and it's only the first chapter. It's fantasy, and blends futuristic( laser beam security, airships), mideval( swords and armor) and modern ( guns). It involves seven dragons being controlled by seven pieces of armor. It tells of a girl who steals a piece of armor, becomes a dragon rider, and attempts to overthrow the evil tyrant ruling the land. I want your feedback on what I can do to improve it, titles or addons to the story. https://docs.google.com/document/d/16OJQ3phNxDbcMiBUadMtu8EbecTPJPiSe3OVCB9gReg/edit#

P.S. I have not added fillers, so this is bare bone. The final will be longer.

Camp

Camp was great!!!!! The classes were interesting , free time was neat, and the food was good. My only complaint was that by the end of the week, I had cabin fever, along with the rest of my cabin. Cabin fever is when your just sick (and Madrone cabin, I mean no offense) of seeing the same people over and over again. Otherwise it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post #1 - The Golden Compass

The 296 page epic, The Golden Compass,Part of the His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman, takes place in an alternate reality. The main problem is that hero Lyra sets off to rescue kidnapped children. She achieves this goal by helping the children escape from the Arctic Circle. The main character, Lyra, is a multi-faceted heroine.

Lyra, the story's heroine, is very multi-faceted. She is equal parts adventrous and brave and cautios and cunning. When, early in the book, she convinces the Gyptians to take her to the Arctic Circle. When she convinces Iorek Byrnison to join her cause. And, at the end, when she convinces the king of armored bears to duel Iorek Byrnison over her. In all these encounters, she treads on dangerous ground, and her multi-facetedness gets her through. I highly recomend this book, UNLESS you are extremely religous.
