The next guy came up. The voice said 9. The man said 4, and was let in. Your guy goes up. The voice says 6. He says 3, and was let in. You go up. The voice says 8. What do you say?
Hint: Theres a reason I didn't spell out the numbers.

The whenever I think up a riddle riddle
Since I gave the rights for the weekly riddle to Andrew, I cant ressurect it. I can, however, throw my best riddles at you. I will publish the next one at a time when I think up a new one. Be warned: These are my hardest.
A man was walking down a path when he came to a fork in the road. At the fork in the road where two brothers. Now, the man had walked this way before, and knew that one fork led to the Swamp of Illusion, where he would expeirience a painful death, while the other led to the City of Bliss. But, the brrothers had taken down the sign, and the man forgot which was which. Now, the man also knew the brothers. Onne always told the truth, the other always lied, but they could not be told apart. So, the man walked up to one, and asked one question. He then took one action, walked down the road he had choosen, and arrived at the city of bliss. What question and action did the man ask and take?
Hint: The man asked one of the brothers, who he did not know if that brother told truth or lies. Thus, the question must work for both brothers.

I read Hoot, a 292 page book by Carl Hiassen, on saving owls and standing up for what's right. The story takes place in Cocunut Cove, Florida, where Roy Eberhardt just moved. One day, as he was getting his face pounded into a bus window, he saw an intresting site: a boy running away from the school bus, to who knows where. Over the next few weeks, Florida life gets very interesting. A pancake house building site is being vandalised by the same boy, Napoleon Leep. His reason, save the endangered burrowing owls on the property. But, does he succeed or not. Read to find out.

Murder on the Orient Express

A governess(i.e. a person hired to take care of children for the whole day). A retired Colonel. A secretary of many languages. A conductor of the Orient Exspress. A meancing Italian witha sunny disposition. A British valet. A detective disguised as a salesman. A Russian Princess and her maid. A Swedish Nurse with a distinctive face. A loud American mother. And a count and countess of Hungary. These are the unusaul suspects in Murder on the Orient Express. Murder on theOrient Express, by Agatha Cristie, is a 256 pg( double pages) murder mystery filled with false leads, lies and deceptions. When Hercule Poriot, Belgium detective extrordinare, has to take the Orient Express back to Britian, he hardly suspected that it would become stuck in a snowdrift. Nor did he believe that that night, a wealthy American "philantropist" would brutally stabbed to death in his bed. Worse, there was no way off the train, so the murderer( or muderers) were still on the Express. With nothing but a pipecleaner, a handkerchief, and a piece of burned up letter, Poirot sets out to solve the Murder on The Orient Express. In the process, he uncovers the truth about who the victim was, and the truth brhind the lies.

Mockingjay

Mockingjay, a 390 page thriller by Suzanne Collins, is ripe with intrigue and suspense. After she was rescued from the horror that was the 75th Hunger Games, a lot has happened for Katniss Everdeen. She found out that District 12 was burned to the ground. Her fellow tribute and love intrest Peeta Melark has been taken captive by the cruel and sadistic Capitol. And she has been a symbol for the rebellion without ever knowing it. The only way for the Districts to win is for her to become a pawn, for her to become The Mockingjay. As the Districts close in one the Capitol the stakes are raised. and the Games become deadlier.
Also, I would recomend this book to people who don't mind a not so happy ending
Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl

Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, is a 238 page diary written by Anne Frank during the time she spent in hiding. The book is writen to a person named Kitty, a friend Anne Frank created, and details her life with another family while living in what she called "The Secret Annexe" of her father's old workplace. In her diary, Anne Frank talks about the arguments, friendships, mishaps, and other things that happen in the Secret Annexe during the two years they lived there. Throghout the book , she goes through diffrent mood swings( see my project for details), which affect her journal entries. I would reccomend this book to anyone who can take a very tragic story.
Holocaust project
Here is my( long overdue) Holocaust project.
WArning: This will require work on your part
So, I read The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank, and I created a musical playlist on Audacity. However, due to complications, I can't upload it. Also, I couldn't find all the songs on Grooveshark. So, heres where you have to help. Following will be the names of four songs. They each symbolise a mood of Anne Frank in the story. Find the songs, listen to about 30 seconds, then go to the next one. They can all be found on SFS radio for kids.
Aaron Coplands/Simple Gifts/innocent
Gussepi Rissiano/ The storm from William Tell/angry
Gustav Mahler/ most depressing possible/depressesd
Franz Schubert/ Theme from Symphony no.3/ calm
Thank you for your consideration.

Catching Fire

Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins, is 391 pages and the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy, and is somehow more suspensful than the last. Katniss Everdeen, the main character, managed to beat the Capitol and the system by forcing the them to let bothe her and her fellow tribute Peeta Mellark make it out of the arena alive. However, when she did that, she created a spark that could cause the Districts to rebel against the Capitol. So, she must act in love with Peeta on the Victory Tour to save her family in friends from dying in the cruel hand of the Capitol. Also, the 75th Games are coming up, and since its a Quarter Quell, a new twist will make the Hunger Gaames even crueler. I'd tell you the end, bu that would spoil the fun. Read to find out what happens.

Devil's Arithmatic questions
b) what is a theme of the movie Devil's Arithmatic? Give proof
The main theme of Devil's Arithmatic is maturity. At the beginning of the movie, Hannah, the main character, is a classic example of teenage America. She is shallow, rebelious, and airheaded. She literaly rolls her eyes during the seder and gets drunk on watered down wine. After her expierience in the concentration camps and her "death," she matures. She doesn't take her life for granted and actually participates in Pasover. From beginningto end, Hannah goes from teenager to young woman.
